Honorable Mention @ TIPA World Awards

Last year the Technical Image Press Association TIPA asked photographers for submissions in three categories worldwide that should explore the relationship between photographers and their photographic equipment… in their „Picture This“ photo contest for the TIPA World Awards.

“Cameras are like musical instruments: they only unfold their magic in the hands of a creative and skillful user. But without them, neither sounds nor images are created, proving that both are a crucial element in the creative process. And that’s why musicians and photographers alike have a special relationship with their instruments, which is reflected in the winning pictures of our competition.” (Thomas Gerwers, TIPA chairman)

I took this self-portrait during the shooting phase for my CameraSelfies… and I couldn’t resist standing in front of the camera myself with my little Pentax „auto 110“ 🙂
