Portraits in Black & White

While I prefer to realize my photo projects in (sometimes strong) colors – and I am particularly interested (in the sense of pop art) the interaction of colored structures on a minimalist and striking level, I am often engaged in photography in black and white. Why? Because of their simplicity and quietness.

Besides my existing black and white gallery “Humans, Grayscale” I would like to share a few of my portrait works… have a look:

B&W photographies can express a presence that can not found in color photos. Whether the photographies are captured in B&W, or color captures transformed into black and white ones… one of the most radical alteration to photographs is to make them black and white. In my opinion, this is especially true for portraits.
